I adore dumplings. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Eastern European. I could never be accused of being a dumplingist. I love them all… but… I have never made my own. This is a pretty basic recipe and quick. Super quick. Admittedly I cheated and didn’t make my own wrappers but the ones I bought from one of the Asian grocery stores in Marrickville even got the nod from the master dumpling critic, otherwise known as my taller half. I might try a few different stuffings before tackling the dough.
