A Cambodian flashback

Note: This recipe has nothing to do with happy pizza.

If you’ve ever been to Cambodia you’ve probably eaten Fish Amok. It’s a divinely balanced creamy fish curry served in every Khmer kitchen you encounter and it’s really hard to get enough of this delicious national dish. Some places serve it in old pots, some in beautifully crafted banana leaf bowls and some in coconut shells.

Here is our attempt at Fish Amok made in ramekins. I am linking the recipe and recommend you check out the whole website. I love it for it’s simplicity and it’s informative text. Some ingredients will need to be substituted if they are not available but the overall flavour is delicious enough to reminisce about adventures into ancient worlds.
